Johan Gustawsson is a Sr. Director within Cisco Data Center & Provider Connectivity, focusing on driving the direction and strategy for routing and architectures.
Johan has spent his entire career operating and building mass-scale networks, pioneering and driving market disruptions across routing and optical domains.
Prior to joining Cisco, Johan was the Head of Network Architecture, Strategy, and Engineering at Arelion (formerly Telia Carrier), leading a globally distributed organization at the world’s #1 ranked Internet Backbone. He has also held a variety of roles in Architecture & Strategy at operators such as Telia and Tele2.
Johan holds a degree of Science in Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He spends most cycles on sports, quantitative investing, and navigating the life of being a father of three small children.
