Global Cybersecurity Product Marketing Manager, Thought Leadership

Cisco Secure

I work within Cisco Secure's thought leadership security team, and I'm a passionate advocate of hearing and telling people’s stories – from how they came into the cybersecurity industry, to how they’re making waves within it.

I host and produce the Cisco Security Stories podcast, and write and contributes to Cisco’s cybersecurity report series, including “Threats of the Year”. I also presents many live chats through Cisco’s live TV platforms, and help to produce Cisco’s series of crowdsourced ebooks, addressing topics such as how to adjust in extraordinary times, the power of diversity, and a celebration of women in cybersecurity.

I'm a firm believer that one of the best ways to learn, and to be inspired, is to hear from others who have been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt. I hope that through my work that I can help to break any myths about who a security person is, looks like, or where they’ve come from, and that audiences will be able to identify with and be inspired by many of the people I speak with who share their stories.

Outside of work I've been training in improvisational comedy for seven years, and often perform live on stage. A keen film fan, I also host a twice monthly movie podcast with some of my fellow improvisers.
