Eric is the Director of Developer Experience at Cisco DevNet, focused on building and supporting a community of over 650,000 passionate developers and engineers who innovate with Cisco platforms and solutions. His team advocates on behalf of developers to help improve APIs and ensure the best tools and resources, like documentation, learning materials, sample code, labs, and developer support, are available to them. Prior to joining the Cisco DevNet team, Eric spent many years supporting Cisco customers as a Systems Engineer and Customer Solutions Architect, as well as leading programmability strategy for the Enterprise West area. Eric holds two CCIEs in Security and Data Center, a DevNet Professional and is a member of the DevNet 500 and DevNet Class of 2020. He is an active member with the YMCA Adventure Guides, a program created to strengthen the father-child relationship through activities that allow fathers to spend quality one-on-one time with their children. When not out camping with his son, Eric enjoys cruising the streets and local trails on a mountain bike, or enjoying sushi with friends.
