Evgeny Livshits is a Machine Learning Engineer on Cisco’s AI Defense team, specializing in multimodal attack defense to protect AI systems from emerging threats. His background spans deep expertise in NLP, computer vision, deep learning, and large-scale AI infrastructure. Prior to Cisco, Evgeny contributed to Gemini, AI evaluation, data quality, and privacy-preserving on-device Assistant technologies at Google. He also previously led search, OCR, and image understanding research and engineering at Evernote. Evgeny holds advanced degrees in mathematics, has authored over 40 scientific publications, and holds 11 US patents.
