Dena Konkel

Dena manages internal communications and employee engagement for CX Americas. She develops content that helps inform stakeholders about business strategy, culture, and priorities. Dena creates meaningful experiences throughout the organization through events and storytelling that help employees connect in a hybrid working environment. She supports executive communications for senior leaders and CX Americas' SVP. Dena is a strategic communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience in writing, visual design, multimedia marketing, digital strategy, messaging, branding, event planning, and social media management.   Before joining Cisco, Dena worked in a variety of communications roles for a regulatory agency, a university system, and an advertising and marketing firm. At Cisco, she produced a webinar series for partners on thought leadership topics called SuccessTalk, developed content and managed customer journey communication for Cisco SecureX, and led global enablement for the digital partner experience team.   Dena enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy, her two children Nolan (15) and Silvia (11), and her two dogs Gracie and Angelo. When not at work, she enjoys going to the beach, watching ice hockey, traveling to Disney World, and taking cruises with her family. She also enjoys acting, and when she has time, likes to perform on stage.
