Daryl is an 19-year Cisconian, specializing in networking, collaboration and telephony, sales and marketing platforms, and conversational AI design. Throughout his Cisco career, he has held key roles in CX TAC, Sales, and Marketing. Currently, he serves as the senior leader of the Marketing Revenue Operation team within Corporate Marketing Operations, where he enables Marketing Demand Operations processes and platforms to support the Virtual Demand Center (VDC) sellers and Cisco Marketing Operations. Beyond his primary role, Daryl provides AI leadership at Cisco through a three-year initiative leading the LLM-Conversational Design Center of Excellence driving best practices, sharing new AI technologies and connecting disciplines across organizations. He also serves as the Responsible AI Champion for Marketing, offering internal business development support and driving AI adoption across various business functions. Daryl has played a pivotal role in shaping Cisco’s voice channel and chatbot brand standards for the pre-sales chat assistant on Cisco.com. His contributions extend to developing AI-focused curricula, delivering instructor-led AI courses, and serving as a panel judge for Cisco’s GAI Black Belt program. He also advises internal business units on AI project initiation, AI Governance, and business development strategies. His leadership and contributions have earned him multiple Cisco leadership and community engagement awards. Passionate about STEM and technical education, he actively mentors aspiring professionals, providing guidance on AI business strategy and technical skills development. He also serves as President of the Eastern Carolina InfraGard, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the FBI that supports businesses, government agencies, and other critical infrastructure partners through information sharing, events, and collaborative initiatives. Outside of his professional endeavors, Daryl is deeply involved in sports and education. He has served as a high school football coach at Ravenscroft High School in Raleigh NC, a NFL HSPD Regional Director, and founder of the Carolina Football Development League. Through these roles, he has mentored and guided student-athletes, helping them succeed both on and off the field.
