Data Center, Mobility, & Network Infrastructure

Dan leads strategy for data center, mobility, and network infrastructure solutions at Cisco. He helps shape the narrative around Cisco’s network infrastructure, data center, mobility, IoT, and compute portfolios, articulating the value and vision of next-generation networking technologies in an era defined by AI. Originally from Seattle and now based in Washington, D.C., Dan explores the boundaries of how networking technology can be applied to novel problems. He approaches challenges with the mindset that if it’s hard, it’s probably worth doing, and that true learning comes from experimentation. In his day-to-day work, often filled with Webex meetings, his cat, Pickles, takes the opportunity to provide unsolicited but enthusiastic feedback, a reminder that insight can come from unexpected places.
