Software Engineering – Networking Experiences
Clinton has worked as a software engineer at Cisco since 2000. He began working on midrange routing products such as Cisco 7200, and 7300 Series Routers and then the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers for the first release of Cisco IOS XE, writing microcode for data-path ASICs and forwarding plane drivers.
This was followed by forays into Session Border Controllers (SBCs), application hosting infrastructure, and routing security features such as firewalls in IOS XE. More recently, Clinton has worked on the IOS XE Web User Interface (WebUI) infrastructure and serviceability infrastructure, including binary tracing.
