Worldwide Partner Organization

Al Jacobellis is the Director of Security Solutions Go-To-Market Strategy for the Worldwide Partner Organization.  Al is responsible for developing the Global Partner Strategy for Security which includes defining capability requirements, coverage models, and partner training requirements. Under Al’s leadership, Cisco is focused on partner growth, profitability and success in these critical industry markets.

A fifteen year Cisco veteran, Al previously led the Vertical & Industry Solution GTM and was Segment Director for the U.S. Global-Nationals Channels organization, where he emphasized the importance of partner enablement, practice development, and early engagement between partner and Cisco sales teams. Al transitioned to Cisco as the Regional Manager for Government and Education in Southern California after spending ten years at Siemens Rolm in various Sales Management positions, including leading the U.S. Public Sector group.

Throughout his career, Al has been building new teams and leading them to success in seeking and incorporating diversity of opinion. In his current role, he has stressed the importance of embracing new business models, partner practice development, and profitability.

Al earned a degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife and four children.
