Deanna Belle is a social media marketing manager at Cisco with a focus on gamification and mobile. Her responsibilities include managing the social media marketing strategy and technical execution of the Social Rewards (loyalty) program as well integrating social into all aspects of mobile across the company. She is focused on maximizing the impact of Cisco’s communications and on nurturing the customer relationship. Deanna managed Cisco's external corporate blogging program for 5 years and helped to successfully grow the program to over 30 blogs and 800 bloggers. Deanna has also been responsible for the development and evangelism of social media governance, education and training programs across the company.
Deanna is a member of the Social Media Business Council where she further explores her interest in the study of social media and its effects on people and business. She is interested in driving education and the adoption of new media tools to facilitate maximum collaboration, knowledge sharing and increased productivity throughout Cisco and beyond. It is the combination of people, process and tools which enable true collaboration. Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University’s iSchool as well as a minor in Psychology.
