Where is the London office?

Welcome to Cisco Meraki’s London offices, where we’re a multi-cultural office of about 190 employees. Fun fact: We speak over 20 different languages!

There are two offices here, one in Central London and our Sales office in 10 Finsbury Square. Due to the expansion of our team, we opened another office in January 2018 in 15 Bishopsgate, where Support, Engineering and Operations are based.

What’s the dress code like? Jeans? Biz casual?

As a team, we are really proud of the products and our brand! As you wander around the office you will see our people sporting a variety of Meraki T-shirts and we follow a casual dress code.

You may notice that our meeting rooms are named after our favourite restaurants and bars. You could be having an interview in Nando’s or Sushi Samba!

It’s lunch time! Where should I go?

We offer our employees fully catered lunch with different themes every day. Consider yourself warned – the longest queue is on Sushi day J. We also offer freshly squeezed orange juice every morning and breakfast every two weeks! Snack bars are located throughout the office, which are fully stocked with healthy (and less healthy) food and drinks.

Where is the coolest spot to sit?

We use the terrace to brainstorm creative ideas and socialise outside of work, as we are a friendly bunch. If you want a quiet space to concentrate, we also have soundproof egg chairs with a view over the largest green area in the city.

Is there a gym nearby? Trails to walk? How can you get your steps in to impress Fitbit?

Work-life balance is important to us. We offer free yoga classes every Monday evening and membership to a discounted gym is available close by. If team sports are more your thing, we have a football team that competes against other companies locally. If you need a break from your screen, we have a games room in our office where you can play pool, table tennis or have a FIFA match on the PlayStation – or you can take selfies in our photo booth!

If you’re visiting from another Cisco location, or interviewing from out of town, what’s the best hotel to stay in?

Depending on budget, we have a number of hotels to stay at close to the office. The Montcalm London House and Holiday Inn Old Street are both convenient options.

If you’re staying an extra day or two, what’s the one tourist spot to hit?

London has many activities to offer. On a sunny day, you can take a stroll down to Southbank and get a boat tour on the Thames. If you prefer something more cultural we have many museums; in South Kensington for example, we have the V&A, Science Museum and Natural History Museum which are all free to visit.

Shoreditch is a 10-minute walk from the office and a great night out; it’s full of individual restaurants and quirky bars. During the day we are close by to Spitalfields market, where there is array of independent food, clothing and jewellery boutiques.

Considering all of the different options we have inside and outside of work, you certainly won’t be bored visiting our Cisco Meraki London office and we will always greet you with a smile. Stop by and say hello!
