We introduced a ground breaking “megatest” back in March 2015, validating Cisco’s service provider Virtualization and Cloud portfolio. During that test, conducted independently by LightReading and EANTC, they showed how carriers could start the journey to offer virtualized services in a multi-vendor environment. A key point was that no matter where operators are in the process – design, implement, or monetize – the technology is mature enough to deploy today.
Some of you may want to check out the solution in person – and if you’re going to San Diego or Chicago next week then you’re in luck. Here’s what we’ve got going on:
Cisco Live San Diego: June 8-11 at the San Diego Convention Center
We’ve got the entire solution suite on display in the Service Provider booth at Cisco Live 2015, including:
- WAN Automation Engine for design and optimization
- Network Service Orchestrator with Tail-f technology for multivendor orchestration
- Virtual Managed Services for service delivery out of the cloud.
- Mobility IQ for network monetization
- Plus many more (other) demonstrations
LightReading’s Big Telecom Event: June 9-10 at the McCormick Center, Chicago IL
Big Telecom Event doesn’t have the space that we got in San Diego, but we’re still showing Network Service Orchestrator and the Virtual Managed Services package…and can no doubt show you WAN Automation Engine if you ask nicely. We’ve also got some cool things on network security that you’re really going to want to see.
What if you can’t make the trip next week? Well…then ask. We just might bring the test results to you. Contact your Cisco account team, tell them you want to learn all about the LR/EANTC validation and we’ll take it from there.
LightReading will also be hosting an online seminar where we’ll be doing a deeper dive on each of the components at the end of June. Look for an announcement and registration page next week.
See you next week hopefully in Chicago or San Diego and safe travels!
