Hello everyone!

Things have been a little crazy around here the last few weeks. But before we head in that direction, we are in November! Halloween is past us, the Holidays are almost upon us. Our Dodgers were no match for the Red Sox in the World Series. The Lakers with some guy named Lebron James are off to a decent start. The Los Angeles Rams are off to a wonderful 8-0 sitting at the top of the NFC West. The LA Kings are in last while the Anaheim Ducks are 5-6. Tennis is wrapping up the 2018 season, and PGA Tour is at the TPC Summerlin for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children Cup. The LPGA is in Japan for the Toto Japan Classic. And lastly, the crew at Mammoth Mountain are blowing snow in anticipation of the start of the season next week.

Cisco Small Business FindIT PODS:

I have asked our Cisco FindIT Product Manager, David Harper to explain what these PODS are and explain why these are so important for us, for you, our channel partners and customers.

Here is Dave:

Interest in FindIT Network Manager has been growing by leaps and bounds, and we have been doing demonstrations on a weekly basis.  After doing dozens of demos and presentations, I can tell you it is much easier to see the value of FindIT by showing a live demo rather talking about it through a PowerPoint slide deck.  Recently, we realized that while we have several demonstration networks with FindIT running at Cisco, not all of our partners are able to have a dedicated demonstration environment running.  This is a problem because it is hard for you all to show the value of FindIT to your customers.

Therefore, I am excited to announce that we have created the FindIT Partner Online Demonstration Service (PODS) – a free service for Cisco partners! FindIT PODS are online instances of FindIT Network Manager along with Cisco Small Business hardware running in our secure data center.  You can log into instance and use it for your customer demonstrations or training sessions.

Access the FindIT PODS landing page by browsing to https://www.cisco.com/go/finditpods and logging on with your cisco.com ID.  On the landing page, there are instructions how to use the PODS, along with a demo guide and scripts to help you show the benefits and value of FindIT to your customer.

With FindIT PODS, you can demo FindIT Network Manager from anywhere, at any time.  So, put away the PowerPoint deck, log into the FindIT PODS, and show your customers how FindIT Network Manager can save them time and money.

Thank you Dave!

I did a quick video of the process to get into the FindIT PODS, sign-in to the Network Manager, and drive into the Network Probe. Lastly cross-launch into our RV340 VPN Router. There is a ton more to tour and see. So take the tour! Feel free to reach out to us if you would like a guided tour. But act fast, our tour guides are going to get booked up quickly!
