Many professional athletes would say that while winning the first championship is unforgettable, its winning back-to-back championships—or even accomplishing the rare three-peat—that carries special meaning as it requires an enduring focus and a consistent commitment to excellence to achieve the highest level of success.

It is along these lines that for the third consecutive year the Cisco Security team is proud to announce that the Identity Services Engine (ISE) was recognized as the top solution in the Trust Awards category at the 2018 SC Awards. The announcement was made on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, during the 22nd annual SC Awards gala in San Francisco.

The SC Awards are recognized throughout the security industry as the gold standard of excellence in cybersecurity.  Winners of the Trust Award were chosen by a distinguished group of leading IT security professionals from SC Media’s readership and selected by SC Media’s editorial team. Entrants were narrowed down to a select group of finalists before undergoing a rigorous final judging process to determine the winner of each category. The Trust Award category is one of the most highly anticipated designations at the SC Awards ceremony because it represents the voice of the customers who are really using the products and services.

To receive the SC Award for three consecutive years is an honor and a tremendous validation for Cisco Security. We are committed to building new innovations for the Identity Services Engine so that it meets our customers’ most pressing and evolving needs to get rich contextual data for everything connecting to the network; control access to applications and data with intent-based controls; and rapidly contain threats.” Kevin Skahill (Senior Director, Security Policy and Access at Cisco)
