Today I shared with our team that after two years leading our Common Hardware Group, Martin Lund has decided to leave Cisco and return to the CEO role at an early-stage AI start up. With this, the Common Hardware Group will join the Product Organization led by Jeetu Patel. This change will help drive further alignment across our portfolio and accelerate delivery of the differentiated solutions our customers need to be successful in the AI era.

Our ability to drive full-stack innovation and customer outcomes from silicon all the way to the application remains a key differentiator for Cisco – it’s foundational to both our future and our customer’s success. Jeetu’s passion for technology, creative vision, and commitment to speed and execution make him the right person to lead this important work and the expanded Product team forward.

Martin joined Cisco two years ago, and he and his team have made an incredible impact for the company, establishing our leadership in AI and across silicon, systems, and optics. In just two years, he and the team introduced new Silicon One chips, while also driving triple-digit AI growth, ramping our business in client optics and with new hardware systems, and cementing our position in AI networking. We are grateful for Martin’s leadership and for everything he has done for Cisco and our customers.

I’m optimistic about what is ahead, and I look forward to seeing how Jeetu and the Product team will work together to amplify the power of our portfolio, deliver more value for our customers, and fuel our future growth during this once-in-a-lifetime technology revolution.
