So, you’ve heard about Cisco Bangalore. Or maybe you’re already here, badge in hand, wondering where to start. (Stick around until the end for a full video tour of the campus!)

Here’s the thing: this isn’t your average tech office. This is a 25-acre powerhouse, home to over 10,000 Cisconians, and one of our largest hubs outside the U.S. It’s practically a mini-city where work happens, but so does life!

First Things First: This Place is HUGE

Nine buildings, each with its own personality, sprawled across the Outer Ring Road, and cleverly connected by sky bridges. Getting lost in your first week? Basically a tradition. Don’t stress — That’s half the fun.

Young man with dark hair and light mustache stands, leaning one arm, across a white desk with a blue "Cisco" logo sign hanging on the wall in the background. Insider Tip: Every floor in BGL 15–18 has a unique theme, and even our meeting rooms tell a story.  You might find yourself solving real-world, global challenges, in a room named after a famous scientist, river, or city, powered by cutting-edge Cisco tech. For a true “insider” moment, don’t miss the Channapatna Toy Yard — a vibrant nod to local heritage — or Nukkad, our campus version of a favorite local street corner.

Looking for that perfect shot? The #WeAreCisco sign is your LinkedIn banner pic goldmine. Professional. On brand. Gets the likes. But for Instagram? Head straight to the Galaxy Lounge.

Let’s Talk Food (Because Priorities :))

You know that Google search, “best lunch near me?” Yeah, you won’t need that here.

Clubhouse, BGL-16, and BGL-17 aren’t just cafeterias; they’re culinary adventures. We’re talking North Indian curries, South Indian dosas that crisp perfectly, traditional thalis, and global cuisines that hit the spot. Need a treat? Grab a chai, some ice cream, or fresh cane juice that tastes like summer in a cup.

Coffee & Connection

Every building has self-service tea and coffee, which means caffeine anytime. But it’s not just about the coffee, it’s about the conversations.

For many of us, it’s BGL-12 where the real insights flow: informal Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions over coffee, team updates that turn into brainstorms. That kind of connection doesn’t happen in scheduled meetings. Find your building’s coffee corner. That’s where you’ll learn everything the onboarding deck didn’t tell you.

Now, the “Wait, WHAT?” Stuff

This is where Cisco Bangalore goes from “nice office” to “wow.” The buildings are packed with surprises, fun, and unique energy. Choose your speed.

Wellness Isn’t a Poster on the Wall, It’s Real Here!

Collage of spaces across Cisco BangaloreThere are two gyms, one above Clubhouse, another in BGL-17, with equipment, trainers, and group fitness classes for early birds and lunch-break warriors. Everyone wants a spot at the massage parlor on the fourth floor of BGL-16, so be sure to book early! But the real game-changer comes from the LifeConnections Health Center in BGL-15. It’s a full medical facility with onsite physicians, specialists, mental health professionals, and more, because Cisco understands that taking care of your “whole self” is the ultimate career move.

And for working parents? An onsite childcare center in BGL-14 means peace of mind while you’re in that big meeting or deep in code.

Don’t miss the Swing Garden with actual swings, and Nap Room for actual naps — zero guilt! Because sometimes the best way forward is a 20-minute pause. There are walking trails for thinking, decompressing, and recharging in the sunlight. The campus periphery is a 2 km loop, equaling about 3,000 steps!

Sustainability is built into our daily rhythm here. You’ll notice the small things first: Think eliminated paper cups and single-use plastics. Driving electric? There are EV charging slots available in the parking basements. We even have a Greenhouse for plant parents and peace seekers, the perfect spot when you need quiet time surrounded by green.

After Work Vibes

When the workday wraps, some of the best moments happen right on campus — Pickup basketball under the floodlights, spontaneous cricket sessions, sunset views from the outdoor courts. Want to explore? Nearby HSR and Koramangala offer spots for team celebrations. Sometimes, you don’t need to go far to unwind.

New to Bangalore? Quick Lowdown

  • Airport: Kempegowda International, about 45 minutes away. Budget an hour if traffic’s being Bangalore.
  • Quick commute hack? Arrive before 9 AM. You’ll dodge Bangalore’s legendary traffic and snag a great parking spot. BMTC buses run frequently, or join the cycling crew (Yes, there are showers onsite!). If you’re relocating, look at Kadubeesanahalli for a 5-minute walk to campus, or Sarjapur Road for a mix of great food, young professionals, and family-friendly vibes.
  • Must-do weekend? Sunrise at Nandi Hills, wander through Cubbon Park, or hit up Church Street’s food scene.
  • Dress code? Relax. Most days it’s jeans and tees. Big meeting? Add a blazer. Comfort wins here. Always 🙂

Why Cisco Bangalore Hits Different?

It’s not just an office. It’s a community.

Where else can you brainstorm in a bamboo lounge, challenge your manager to table tennis, grab a thali, jam in the music room, hit the gym, and still make your 3 PM call, all in one place?

Insider trick? Don’t just stick to your floor. Explore. Every building has hidden gems. You’ll meet people from teams you didn’t know existed. That’s where the magic happens.

Cisco In Three Words?
