Rain or shine?… Doesn’t matter. Global pandemic?… OK, we’ll be virtual. Whatever the challenge, developers are always up for solving problems. That’s why we are super excited to bring you, our DevNet community, together at DevNet Create 2021 to demonstrate use cases and their solutions to real-life problems.

This is DevNet Creates 5th year and it keeps on getting better. This year, my DevNet colleague Denise Kwan and I are both extremely excited to co-host the “DevNet Create Channel” of the America’s regional broadcast. We’ve seen the incredible line-up of speakers and sessions, and can’t wait to learn alongside the technology experts and talented members of our community.

DevNet Create 2021 will offer sessions across three regions. So, you can catch the topics you want in the time zone that works for you. DevNet Create kicks off in the Americas region on October 19th. Then follows the sun to the Asian Pacific region, and on through EMEAR. There will also be a special spotlight on innovation taking place in Cisco’s Latin Americas region.

Each region will present sessions across four different channels: DevNet Create, Creators, APIs in Action, and Start Now. These channels offer technical sessions and demos that run concurrently. Build your own schedule. But don’t worry if you can’t be two places at once, all sessions will be recorded and available after the conference.
Selfishly, we’d recommend you stay with us on the DevNet Create Channel. But in all honesty, you should browse the content of all four channels to find the speakers you want to hear from, and the sessions you want to join.

Back by popular demand. Don’t miss the Demo Jam

DevNet Create wouldn’t be DevNet Create without the popular “Demo Jam.” It gives you a chance to see unique solutions that have been built by Cisco developers. It’s awesome to see the creativity of our developers. Go register now. You don’t want to miss it!

Tech for Good series

New this year is our Tech for Good series. DevNet reached out to the community and found people who have made a positive impact on their community, the welfare of other humans, and society at large by using their developer skills. Join this series to hear developers discuss what they built to make a difference in the community. We’re super excited to hear these stories and see the impact of their code.

Lessons from the Bar-B-Que Pit

Speaking of real-life examples, you might want to check out the Snack Minute special edition where Quinn Snyder talks about lessons on monitoring learned from the BBQ pit. Who knew that BBQ could teach you about application monitoring?

Are you a partner? Or thinking about being a partner?
