Team DevNet is mainly based in the Northern Hemisphere, and we’ve had enough of winter (even in sunny Silicon Valley). We are on our way to Australia for some summertime sunshine, and we’re bringing all the Cisco code!
You can still register to join us in Melbourne, from March 6 through 9, 2018.

Focus on Collaboration
We design, support, and teach you how to innovate with the best Enterprise Collaboration software on the planet. This year we are particularly excited to be able to bring you the latest developments around Cisco Spark, especially to our friends in New Zealand. Make sure to follow Cisco Systems Engineering Leader Scott Lee-Guard on Twitter, and find him in person at the conference. He’ll get you up to speed on all the training options available throughout the year.
You’ll also want to get the latest success stories from one of our favorite Partners: Local Measure. Jonathan Barouch and his Team of data scientists will be tracking all the conversations online and onsite, and helping you identify the influencers to follow and connect with. Speaking of influencers, did you know that Rowan Trollope is giving the opening keynote? I’m going to get there early and find a good seat I can live-tweet from. If you are joining us online, you’ll be able to get live video on the Cisco Live Melbourne website.
Defining NetDevOps
Cisco Live used to be called Networkers, and at our core we are proud Networking experts.
You can help define the next era of Networking by working directly with our programmability trainers. As a special treat, you’ll be able to meet DevNet superstars Hank Preston III and Nilram Azadpeyma in person!
We have been busy for over a year now, bringing programmability training to Cisco customers and partners around the world. Ask us about #DevNetExpress and we’ll help you schedule DevNet hands-on training on all Cisco APIs at a location that is most convenient for your team.
To see the list of already scheduled events, bookmark the DevNet Events page.

Cisco’s Best
We are a global team, and Australia is home to one of our favorite programmability evangelists: Adam Radford. We close out this blog post with a special message from our friend Adam, and hope to see you in Melbourne!
March is just around the corner and that means one thing in Australia… Cisco Live is on its way!
This year marks my 20th Cisco Live attendance (a few as a customer) and over that time one thing has remained constant: there is always something new.
This year, I will be presenting in the DevNet Zone on the cornerstone of our Network Intuitive launch, DNA Centre. DNA Centre is a powerful automation and assurance tool for enterprise networks. Not only does DNA Centre do a great job of automation in its own right, but it also has a rich set of APIs that allows it to be extended and integrated into other workflows.
In the DevNet Zone, we have a number of learning labs, an always-on sandbox, as well as hands-on workhops where you can get up close and personal with DNA Centre.
I have a number of great use cases I have been working on, but I am really looking forward to conversations with you, our customers. Your creativity and insights never cease to amaze me.

Yep, DevNet is headed to #CLMel and I’m ecstatic for my first trip to Australia and to visit and meet in person all the great folks I’ve interacted with online, in webinars, and on social media. I’ve got many sessions teed up so join me for some great #NetDevOps content!
Silvia, thanks for putting together this blog post and reminding everyone that #CLMel is just around the corner. I'm looking forward to this event and sharing knowledge around NX-OS, IOS-XE APIs in my workshops as well as having meaningful conversations with the event attendees!
So looking forward to #CLMEL and to have #Devnet there too is just super awesome. For people attending do stop by
Fantastic post, Silvia! #CLMEL is definitely going to be huge this year with many theatre sessions and hands-on workshops and demos planned. Make sure you come and see us at our #DevNet zone and learn about the new evolution of IT. Also, this year, after many #DevNetExpress workshops across ANZ, believe we will have an amazing number of DevOps enthusiasts looking to learn more. Come talk to us about what is next! I am counting days down.
Looking forward to seeing all my DEVNET friends down under! I’m planning on spending some serious time getting my hands on all the cool labs!!!

Can't wait to see you and Devnet in action Silvia. Come find us Cisco NOC team when you get a chance
So people in Australia, New Zealand and all our friends able to travel. I will be hosting our DevNet experts at Cisco Live this year, so come to Melbourne and i will give you a personal tour of the DevNet Zone and introduce you to some amazing talent we have available.
Maybe grab a keyboard and do some coding! See you there!
It's shaping up to be a fantastic CiscoLive in Melbourne next week!
Even though I won't be speaking at CiscoLive for the first time since 2002, I'm more excited about this year's edition than any before. Why? In a word, change.
We often talk about the pace of change in our industry, but as a proud Cisco SE (now SE manager) seeing it brought to life and made real is exhilarating.
There is so much that is changing in the world of networking, with programmability being front and centre.
So whether you are focused on ACI, Cisco Spark or (my favourite) Cisco DNA, there is a ton to see and learn, do join us in one of our many break out sessions (50+ on Routing/Switching/SDWAN/Wireless alone!) and talk to the experts there and in the DevNet zone.
See you all next week
