The month of May holds a special attraction for me with two premier Cisco partner events, ServiceNow’s Knowledge18 in Vegas, and Citrix Synergy 2018 in Anaheim. Both are scheduled for the same week, May 7 – 11.
As for me, I plan to be in Anaheim next week to take part in all the excitement Citrix Synergy 2018 brings to town. Several of the technology alliance partners I work with on the Cisco ACI, UCS, Hyperfelx, Tetration and Network Assurance Engine front will be at the Citrix event. Amidst these synergies, I want to bring to your attention to the significance of this year’s Citrix Synergy event.
Citrix CEO, David Henshall, kick starts the event with his visionary keynote on May 8, at 9 AM. David will focus on Citrix’ relentless focus on a single driving principle: making your apps and data secure, and easy to access anywhere, at any time. And with the increased threat of cyber-security, the keynote will also focus on the need for a trusted, people-centric security framework that expands the traditional security perimeter into the cloud, across multiple devices and networks. The emphasis on secure digital perimeter is significant, and I want to call your attention to the “Secure perimeter leadership award” we won at Citrix Summit 2018, and how well we aligned with Citrix’s vision and roadmap.
Along with Citrix CEO, several dignitaries take the stage at Citrix Synergy 2018 this year as super session speakers. Notable among them are former US secretary of state, Dr.Condoleezza Rice, and NY times bestselling author, Michael Lewis. Citrix Exec PJ Hough, Chief product Officer, will deliver the technology keynote and share insights into how Citrix helps you plot a course to success in moving to a cloud-first world, no matter the approach – hybrid, multi, virtual.
Citrix Synergy 2018 is particularly exciting to me as our joint solutions with Citrix featuring Cisco technologies UCS, Hyperflex, ACI and Tetration Analytics have picked up considerable customer momentum since their market introduction. Ameritas, Okada Manila, YRC freight, Woolworth, DU and several other top customers have recently given testimonials on their positive experiences with the ACI-NetScaler joint solution, and I look forward to hearing more of these at the event.
