Cisco UCS Mini and Citrix Desktop Virtualization

May 6, 2015 - 4 Comments

This week, Cisco is at three industry tradeshows (Microsoft Ignite booth #122, SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference booth #330, and EMC World booth #221).

Next week is Citrix Synergy in Orlando.

Cisco and Citrix have been collaborating on solutions for desktop virtualization, mobility, cloud and networking for several years now. The combination of Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp with Cisco UCS delivers a robust and proven solution for deployment of a few hundred seats to thousands of virtual desktops.

If you need a desktop virtualization solution for your small business or remote / branch office, Cisco, Nimble Storage, and Citrix have a solution for you. UCS Mini + Nimble Storage CS300 + Citrix XenDesktop = 500 desktop sessions in a mixed VDI and RDS configuration with room to grow!

Read the At-a-Glance for an overview of the Configuration Guide for complete details. Also check out Cisco’s Frank Anderson’s guest blog The Might of UCS Mini for VDI – UCS+Nimble+Citrix.

Are you going to Citrix Synergy? Stop by Cisco’s booth (#202) to talk with Frank and other experts on why Cisco UCS servers are the ideal platform for your Citrix solutions. You should also go to Nimble Storage’s booth (#419) to learn more about our joint solutions.

Great things come in small packages. #CiscoUCS Mini is small, but mighty.

    • Sydney, thanks for reading the blog & commenting. Nimble has been very active supporting UCS in general, and Mini in particular. You might read a few of my other UCS Mini blogs to see other joint solutions.
