This year, Cisco is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Cisco UCS. With the launch of UCS in 2009, we saw another significant milestone: the first time that VMware chose to have the data center for their signature tradeshow, VMworld, run exclusively on UCS blades. The partnership of VMware and Cisco has grown tremendously since that event, and now we’re looking forward to traveling to San Francisco (where VMworld was held that first year it used UCS blades) to connect with partners and customers.

Making the Mark with Cisco and VMware

The theme of VMworld 2019 is “Make Your Mark,” and Cisco will be doing just that by delving into everything you need to know about the “Cisco Data Center Anywhere.” We’ll be talking about the Windows 10 migration, hyperconverged infrastructure, desktop virtualization, managing a secure data center, and virtual next generation firewalls among other topics. We’ll also be highlighting our recent work with NVIDIA and VMware to bring customers the best VDI experience on Horizon. Also join us for a number of in booth presentations from 10+ Cisco Partners.

On the Horizon

Speaking of Horizon, we know that most manufacturing, AEC, Media, and Enterainmnet, Oil and Gas, Healthcare and design firms have teams that require the use of powerful, yet expensive physical graphic workstations. Join us for our breakout session titled “Size and Configure Horizon to support Professional Graphics Applications ” on Tuesday, August 27 from 11:30am to 12:30pm. We will highlight all the benefits of our solution for each one of these major use cases.

In addition to all of our demos and speaking sessions, we’ll be hosting a scavenger hunt with 8 of our partners and giveaway some great prizes. Come visit us at booth #1427!

You can learn more about our presence at VMworld on our microsite.

See you in San Francisco!
