Xabier Ugarte is a computer security researcher specialized in malware analysis at Cisco’s Talos Security Intelligence and Research Group since 2015. Before this, he obtained a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Deusto. During this period, he also did an internship at Eurecom, France. His thesis was focused on run-time packer analysis. Xabier’s experience ranges from malware analysis, reverse engineering to systems programming.
