Vaughn is a 25-year veteran to the technology field in DC, Cloud and Networking technologies. Vaughn’s career began at Cisco in 1999, working directly with Service Provider customers. Vaughn has achieved certifications as a dual CCIE for Routing and Switching and Security. Areas of expertise – SP Data Center, SP Security, SP Cloud architecture and IaaS, Server Virtualization, Cloud Security, SDN, SP Networking and DC automation and telemetry. Vaughn’s primary responsibility at Cisco today, provide Americas Service Provider customers technical leadership for DC and Cloud solutions. Providing subject matter expertise for: Current Industry trends, SP solutions and architectures and Strategic planning. Vaughn is a Distinguished CiscoLive Speaker and has presented on DC SDN, DC and SP internetworking and Data-driven Networks. Vaughn lives in Texas with his wife Terri. A father to 2 awesome children (Jessica and Jordan) and referred to as GeeG by his 2 young grandsons.
