Our COVID-19 response is no different, with over $50 million in contributions to nonprofit partners focused on helping those who are homeless, displaced or at risk, those experiencing hunger and food insecurity, as well as those on the front lines.
I’ve always believed that universal broadband internet access is a human right – just as important as food, shelter and water – that when fulfilled, enables individuals to help themselves succeed in the information economy. As the COVID-19 pandemic moves us deeper into a digital world, accessing education, establishing and maintaining a livelihood, and obtaining government and other critical services are being forced online.

When you hit a significant anniversary, you can’t help but to reflect on where you’ve been, appreciate the present, and look forward to where you’re heading. As Cisco celebrates its 35th anniversary, I find myself doing just that.
