Susan Cole

Susan Cole believes the best communication starts with connection — the kind that’s real, grounded, and human. She works in Executive Communications at Cisco, where she currently supports SVP Dave West in the Global Specialists Sales organization, shaping stories that bring the One Cisco vision to life and strengthen alignment across teams. Susan began her career in advertising and has spent most of her life in tech, blending strategy, storytelling, and heart to help brands and leaders communicate with authenticity and impact. After stepping away to explore the world of wellbeing — including helping launch a retreat center and opening a meditation studio — she returned to corporate life with a deeper understanding of what truly moves people. A former Creative Director with TEDxBoise and host of a Wisdom 2.0 conference, Susan is drawn to conversations that expand our collective awareness. Her writing focuses on the intersection of desire, authenticity, and identity, exploring how personal truth can ripple outward into social change. She lives in the North End of Boise, Idaho, where she can be found walking pretty much everywhere, hanging out with good friends and her cat Frank, and cheering on her two twenty-something sons.
