Scott Sprinkle is a seasoned professional with a rich history at Cisco, commencing his journey with the company in September of 1998 as a Solution Engineer (SE) in Carmel, IN. Over the years, he has ascended through the ranks, assuming various leadership roles that underscore his unwavering commitment to excellence. In 2006, Scott transitioned into a pivotal role within Cisco's leadership team as a first line SE Leader. His exceptional performance and leadership acumen saw him subsequently promoted to the position of Senior SE Leader in 2009, where he led dynamic teams across the expansive five-state Midwest Operation. In recognition of his exceptional talent and dedication, Scott was appointed as Director, Solution Engineering of the GES Central area in February 2019. In 2025, Scott was again promoted to Senior Director, Solutions Engineering. In this influential role, he spearheads a highly skilled and diverse team that serves an extensive geographic expanse, spanning fifteen states. His team comprises Senior Engineering Managers, Engineering Managers, and Solution Engineers and they are entrusted with catering to the needs of over 150 of Cisco's largest Global Enterprise customers. What truly sets Scott apart is his unwavering dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity within the workplace. He leads the GES Central Men for Inclusion, championing allyship initiatives that ensure every employee feels valued, respected, and supported in their career journeys. Scott also serves as the global co-lead of the VETS ERO (Employee Resource Organization), further emphasizing his commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for veterans. Scott’s professional journey is complemented by his distinguished service as a United States Air Force veteran of the first Gulf War. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, further underscored by his CCIE emeritus status, which he has held since 1996 (CCIE#2717). Beyond his professional endeavors, Scott is a passionate enthusiast of various interests. He enjoys running, showcasing his culinary skills in the kitchen, and embarking on adventures around the globe. Currently, Scott calls the Richmond, VA area home, where he shares his life with his cherished wife and best friend, Julie. Together, they are blessed with a loving family of four children – Alivia, Gavin, Madelyn, and Lindsey, along with a delightful canine companion named Taco. Scott's life and career are characterized by a commitment to excellence, a spirit of adventure, and a deep sense of family.
