Sophia Gudenrath is an Engineering Product Manager for the Industrial IoT group at Cisco, where she focuses on Industrial Ethernet (IE) switching products. She is currently leading efforts to integrate cloud management for IE switches with the Meraki dashboard. Drawing on her background in industrial and OT security, she works to bridge the gap between robust networking infrastructure and the specialized requirements of modern rugged environments. Before joining the Industrial IoT team in late 2023, Sophia gained extensive experience across the security, controls, automation, and manufacturing sectors in various engineering roles. She holds a degree in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and reading.
