Robert is a Manager of Sales Business Development for Cisco’s Global Industry Partners. In this role, Robert advises Cisco’s Designed-In Partner Strategy the Industrial IoT space. These strategic partners represent a new route to market for Cisco, delivering joint, use case based, industry solutions across Cisco’s technology portfolio. Robert leads the North American go-to-market strategy, segmentation, hardware, software and services solutions, ecosystem alignment, marketing strategy and executive relationships.
Throughout his career he has been successful in direct and indirect sales leadership, driving new technologies to market, launching key channel partner strategies and programs. Robert has worked with various partner types from resellers to systems integrators, OEMs, service providers, Industry partners and technology partnerships. He has over 30 years’ sales leadership experience around architectural selling with applications, analytics/BI, collaboration, cyber security and data center environments.
Robert likes to spend time with his wife, Katie and three children. He is active in the mountain biking community and advocacy for veterans, enjoys skiing, traveling and reforestation non-profit work. Robert is a graduate of University of Maryland and a US Marine.
