Rajesh Bansal is the Senior Director of Cloud Management and Operations (CMO) within the Enterprise AI Platforms & Infrastructure (EAIPI) organization for Cisco IT. In this role, Rajesh leads the global organization responsible for delivering an AI-enabled, intelligent, secure, and managed cloud operating model that empowers seamless self-service resource consumption while continuously optimizing cost across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
Under Rajesh’s leadership, the Cloud Management and Operations team architects, automates, and operates Cisco’s enterprise cloud management platforms, delivering simple, secure, and fully programmable cloud architectures and lifecycle operations for application development customers and business entities across Cisco. His organization is focused on maximizing developer velocity, infusing AI capabilities into cloud operations, advancing autonomous operations (NoOps/AIOps), and ensuring end-to-end cost and resource optimization across hybrid and public cloud ecosystems.
Rajesh brings over three decades of experience leading global IT and engineering organizations focused on the implementation, architecture, and operations of emerging technologies and cloud solutions. He is widely recognized for building high-performing, customer-centric teams and champions a strong culture of talent development, mentorship, and diversity across the organization.
Rajesh holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
