Pramod is a senior leader at Cisco’s Security Business Group (SBG), responsible for driving strategy, execution, and evolution of the Cisco Firewall portfolio — with a focus on leading engineering for all aspects of Firewall Management, Threat Detection, and Identity Firewalling, while also helping shape Cisco’s broader Hybrid Mesh Firewall vision. Before Cisco’s acquisition of Sourcefire, he was among its early developers — contributing directly to Snort’s threat detection capabilities. That experience shaped Pramod's passion for engineering excellence, community-driven innovation, and building security that’s open, scalable, and resilient.
