Prachi Mahapatra is a Product Management leader in Cisco Cybersecurity Services, where she leads the Threat Detection and Response Services portfolio. She drives the evolution of advanced security services that protect enterprise and public-sector organizations against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Her work spans Extended Detection and Response (XDR), proactive threat modeling, FedRAMP-aligned security services, and emerging quantum-safe security capabilities—helping customers operate securely in a rapidly evolving threat landscape. With over a decade of experience in technology and product management, Prachi has built, launched, and scaled SaaS and services-based products across cybersecurity, analytics, data platforms, marketing services, credit, and research. She brings hands-on practitioner experience across cybersecurity operations, security architecture, IT operations, and service delivery, ensuring that products designed for practitioners are grounded in real-world operational needs. At Cisco, Prachi owns end-to-end portfolio strategy and execution, including service design, adoption and renewal KPIs, customer value realization, and P&L accountability. She leads initiatives focused on XDR-driven detection and response, compliance-ready security services for regulated industries, and quantum-safe security capabilities that future-proof enterprise and government systems against emerging cryptographic risks. She also plays a key role in services due diligence and post-acquisition integration, aligning customer success, security operations, and delivery models across Cisco’s security acquisitions. Prior to Cisco, Prachi held product and technology leadership roles at Amazon and other global organizations, supporting both public- and private-sector customers at scale. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. Prachi is certified through Pragmatic Institute and Product School and is a strong advocate for women in cybersecurity and inclusive technology leadership.
