Peter Lackey has 25+ years of Service Provider industry experience, the last 16 of which with Cisco, have been in both engineering and sales. While working in the Solutions Engineering organization as the Technical Lead, Peter was responsible for all aspects of the infrastructure in the Data Center technology arena as it relates to routing, switching and services such as Compute, load balancing and security.

Today as the Technical Solutions Architect Peter routinely briefs customers on Cisco’s data center vision and strategy and engages in Data Center design, methodology and go to market business discussions with Service Provider customers globally.

Peter has written various White Papers and Design Guides such as Data Center Site Selection for Business Continuance, Data Center Infrastructure Design Guide Versions 2.0, 2.1 & 2.5 and Deep Packet Inspection in the Data Center to name a few.
