Peter Charpentier

Peter is a Principal Architect with more than 20 years of expertise in automation and Data Center architecture. He drives the Observability and Data Center automation CX Services portfolio and covers services in the Data Center and Cloud spaces, including Cisco Migration Solutions. In addition to his role responsibilities, he is the ISO Quality Champion Lead for Cisco Customer Experience EMEA. As an industry expert, Peter has presented at Cisco Live many times and is the author of several technical white papers. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden, and led the automation portfolio as the Principal Technical Architect at Sun Microsystems before joining Cisco. A true polyglot, Peter speaks four languages – and can understand seven. He has lived in several countries, such as Sweden and The Netherlands, and he currently resides in Switzerland. In his spare time, he is an avid photographer.
