Mariama Swedish

Mariama Swedish brings more than 15 years of experience in design, scale, and execution of regulatory risk management and strategic compliance initiatives. She leads Cisco’s Regulatory Solutions Office team which engages across the company to assess and address regulatory risks; and introduces innovative solutions that enable business priorities across regulated industries and solution areas. Her work includes the scaffolding, integration, and optimization of compliance processes, guidance, and tools across digital accessibility, telecommunications, environmental sustainability, and public sector, among other key areas of Cisco’s operations. Prior to Cisco, Mariama built and led global regulatory governance operations, public sector compliance, and civilian government sales legal at Microsoft. She enjoys spending time with family, pro bono legal work, and indoor cycling.
