Marcus Smith is a Chartered Engineer and the Utilities Solution Manager in the IoT Solutions group at Cisco. Previously a Technical Marketing Engineer with the IoT group supporting Market Development activities with Industrial partners and end customers. Working across multiple industry verticals such as Manufacturing, Utilities (Power,Water and Renewables), Oil&Gas and Mining. Previous to this he worked for Cisco's IoT Services business as a Solution Architect and spent numerous years embedded at both Power Utilities and Oil&Gas companies on large multi year projects leading the Network and Cybersecurity aspects.
