Lukas Krattiger leads Cisco Networking’s Data Center Networking Technical Marketing Engineering (TME) organization, a crucial function helping to define and build foundational solutions for Cisco customers and partners. In this role Lukas is focused on making networking simpler to deploy, configure and manage while extending the value of Cisco networking holistically by enhancing the user experience. Additionally, Lukas is focused on adapting networks for changing data patterns and requirements of modern workloads such as artificial intelligence with breakthrough innovations in silicon, systems, and software, solidifying Cisco’s cloud management strategy and offer including the delivery of SaaS-enabled network controllers. As a Cisco Fellow, Lukas is part of an exclusive community of technologists and strategists who are critical to Cisco’s success. Lukas serves as an influential voice in key technical and business decisions that shape Cisco’s connectivity strategies. He has 25+ years of experience in cloud, data center, internet, application, and telecommunication networking specializing in data center switching architectures and solutions across platforms. He is a double CCIE (Routing & Switching, Data Center) with several other industry certifications and participates in various technology leadership and advisory groups. Lukas was born in Switzerland and is multilingual. After a long stint in Silicon Valley Lukas now resides in The Woodlands, Texas with his wife and daughter, and has fully embraced the warmth of the southern United States.
