Leonard Thompson

Leonard Thompson is Director of Managed Services and XaaS supporting the Americas Partner organization. In this role, he supports a team of Service Creation BDMs and Sales Acceleration PAMs to enable the entire lifecycle of Managed Services route-to-market with and for our partners. Leonard has been with Cisco for 18 years. Prior to his current role he held a variety of field sales roles across Engineering, Account Management, and Leadership in our enterprise and commercial segments. Prior to joining Cisco, he spent 8 years at a Fortune 500 customer leading their global network and telecommunications where they transformed a legacy infrastructure into a modern converged IP network resulting in significant cost savings and new capabilities for the business. Leonard’s passion and commitment for building diverse teams has guided him to opportunities for mentoring individuals in Auburn University’s MERGE program, the Atlanta TechBridge Workforce Development Program and Cisco’s ElevateHER program. Leonard is currently located in Atlanta, GA with his wife and three children.  In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with family, tennis, rowing, trail-running, triathlons, and collecting good wine to share with friends.
