As the Vice President of Product Management for the Secure WAN product portfolio at Cisco, Lee Peterson leads product strategy, development, and roadmap for the company’s multibillion-dollar enterprise routing portfolio. At the forefront of Cisco’s networking innovation, Lee is spearheading the convergence of Catalyst and Meraki products, delivering a unified solution that enables customers to securely connect, manage, and scale their networks—whether on-premises, in the cloud, or across hybrid environments. With over twenty years of experience in telecommunications and networking, Lee is recognized for building and empowering high-performing product management teams. His leadership has been instrumental in accelerating the adoption of secure routing across more than 173,000 customers in diverse industries, including retail, financial services, and public sector. He actively engages with customers and partners to understand their evolving needs as they embrace digital transformation and cloud-first strategies. Prior to his current role, Lee led outbound product management and product enablement for Cisco Meraki, with a focus on scaling adoption with small and medium businesses, service providers, and global enterprise segment customers. Originally from Australia, Lee relocated to the United States in 2008 and now resides in Orange County, California. He holds an undergraduate degree in information technology from the University of Wollongong and an MBA in international business from Sydney Business School. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two sons and exploring the outdoors with his family.
