Lynn Bloomer joined Cisco in 2000 and is currently the Global Programs and Services Director for Networking Academy, Cisco’s largest and longest-running purpose-driven IT skills-to-jobs program. Networking Academy has grown to reach more than 4.6 million students annually (24 million since inception) in over 191 countries with an annual in-kind contribution valued at over $458 million USD (5.7 billion since inception). Lynn is currently responsible for multiple Networking Academy internal and external services. Customer services include Employment, Instructor Experience, Support Desk, Rewards and Recognition, Onboarding, Equipment and Certification Discounts, Accessibility, Global Partnerships and Advisory Boards. Internal services include Annual Planning, Forecasting, Talent and Operations Reviews, Business Intelligence and Business Transformation. Her team focuses on operational excellence, process improvements, and automation while maintaining high quality service and customer satisfaction. Lynn began her NetAcad journey as an Instructor and Regional Partner. Lynn currently resides in Rhode Island with her husband Keith and daughter Katie. Lynn participates on various Academy Advisory Boards and has been active in her community as a Girl Scout Troop leader, Rhode Island Blood Center, Jonnycake Center for Hope and Parent Teacher Organization volunteer. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Villanova University.
