Kevin Wollenweber is Cisco's Senior Vice President and General Manager of Data Center and Internet Infrastructure. In this role, he leads product strategy to enhance Cisco's infrastructure solutions for the data center, high-performance routing, and mobile networks. His leadership is pivotal in driving growth and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet the dynamic needs of businesses worldwide.
Kevin began his career at Cisco as an intern in routing engineering. His tenure which spans almost thirty years, reflects his commitment and extensive expertise in technology and leadership. His customer-first approach has informed his collaborations with the world's largest webscalers, enterprises, and communication service providers as they transform their network infrastructures.
Kevin and his team have developed some of the industry's most innovative products and solutions, empowering customers to tackle business challenges head-on. One example being the integration of Cisco Silicon One into platforms to address the hyperscaler market. This vision has enabled hyperscalers to build robust, efficient, and scalable networks for cloud and AI services.
Kevin's dedication to enhancing the customer experience extends beyond product development. His strategic vision has influenced Cisco's organic and inorganic investments across silicon, software, systems, operations, and optics portfolios.
Kevin has a bachelor's and master's in computer engineering from Santa Clara University and held a Routing and Switching CCIE.
