Joel Roberts

Joel Roberts is a Principal Architect within Cisco’s Customer Experience Organization. He is responsible for the discovery of business requirements and the design of distributed, scalable, and secure systems that enable Cisco’s largest customers. Current focus areas include end-to-end architectures, cloud native & edge native applications, migrations, observability and SRE/DevOps/NetDevOps. Joel is a CCIE No. 21858, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), speaker, author, and active within Open Source communities. Prior to Cisco worked as a Software Development Engineer, System Administrator, and is a veteran of the US Military.
