Joe Gleeson

Joe Gleeson is Senior Director of IT Global Infrastructure Services at Intel, overseeing the company’s global network infrastructure and data center facilities, from engineering through operations. Joe is a 29-year Intel IT veteran. He started his Intel career in Manufacturing IT in Ireland, holding several management roles in Factory App/Database support. He joined Corporate IT in 2007 and held various regional and global leadership roles in the Network Infrastructure team. As Network Infrastructure Director since 2018, Joe led the transformation of Intel’s network into a highly automated, software-defined environment, significantly enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. In 2024, Joe expanded his leadership to include all Intel Data Center Facilities, further strengthening the company’s global IT infrastructure. Joe holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick and a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology Management from Dublin City University.
