Jean-Marc Barozet has over 25 years of experience in the networking industry in both Enterprise and Service Provider verticals and has been with Cisco for over 15 years. Jean-Marc is a Technical Leader in the Software Engineering Group and supports the introduction and customer adoption of new Cisco developments in Application-aware Network Performance Management (ANPM). This team designs many of the systems, features and protocols in Cisco Network Operating System.
He has been a Consulting Engineer with the Cisco Sales organization in France for 13 years, working closely with Cisco's largest customers in a variety on domains mostly on Routing and Switching technologies and then joined the Software Engineering group to work on Cisco's initiative called Application Visibility and Control (AVC), which includes deep packet inspection techniques, application performance measurements as well as bandwidth and path control in the network
