Ian Procyk is a wireless technology specialist with 25+ years of field experience, focusing on wireless solutions since 2005. As a wireless solutions designer at Cisco, he helps organizations build scalable, reliable network infrastructure, with a particular focus on the unique demands of the mining, oil and gas, public safety, and healthcare sectors. A Cisco Live Hall of Fame speaker and contributor to the "Unplugged Connectivity" YouTube channel, he enjoys sharing his learnings with customers and peers. His technical foundation is rooted in a lifelong passion for radio; he has held an Advanced Class Amateur Radio license since 1997 (VE7HHS) and volunteers his free time providing radio and telecommunications support for emergency management and disaster response organizations in his home province of British Columbia.
