Gurudatt Shenoy

Guru Shenoy is Vice President, Product Management in Cisco’s Mass-Scale Infrastructure Group, responsible for the Web and Service Provider routing business. In this role, Guru leads a product management organization chartered with delivering industry leading technologies for 5G and Web routing applications. This includes platform families such as the Cisco 8000, NCS5500, NCS500 and ASR9K and solutions such as Cisco’s Converged SDN Transport and Routing Optical Networking architectures. Previously, Guru led the Software Product Management organization at Juniper Networks, responsible for the evolution of the Junos operating system, virtual routing and Juniper’s Service Provider Automation portfolio. Other leadership roles included product management of Juniper’s Service Provider Metro products portfolio including the ACX and MX series of routers. Prior to Juniper, Guru held a variety of leadership roles at Cisco including product management of Cisco’s Core Routing portfolio (CRS and NCS6K) and engineering leadership of the IOS-XR infrastructure software team. Guru holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune, India, a master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business.
