Gerd De Bruycker is the Marketing Lead for Cisco Northern Europe (11 countries), is also heading up the EMEA Events Team (Cisco Live etc) and is leading Learning and Development for EMEA Marketing. He has a passion for sports, events, marketing and building teams.

He joined Cisco in July 2010 as the Event Lead for Cisco Live Europe and has since grow his role to include the above marketing roles.

Before that he worked almost 10 years at Microsoft in various marketing roles on country, regional and worldwide level. He is a true marketing and event expert.

He is also teaching Corporate Event Management at a college in Belgium and is a juror for event marketing awards in Europe.
