Forrest Foster is Chief Security Architect for the Engineering Cloud Services team in Cisco’s Engineering IT organization. He’s responsible for partnering with IT and Information Security Architecture teams, to drive a holistic defense in-depth strategy across the Cisco global enterprise. Forrest is also a CISSP, SANS GIAC GSEC, and RHCE certified. In addition, Forrest has a Certification in UNIX Administration and Management from the University of California Extension and is pursuing a degree in Information Assurance and Security at Cappella University. Forrest lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and two children. In his spare time Forrest enjoys playing rock guitar in the local Austin music scene.
