Fabio serves as the Country Digitization Acceleration (CDA) Leader for Cisco Italy, a position held since January 2016. In this strategic capacity, Fabio leads the development and execution of Cisco’s national investment programs, driving the digital transformation of Italy’s public and private sectors. With a distinguished career at Cisco spanning back to 1996, Fabio has cultivated extensive leadership experience, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility. Starting as a System Engineer, Fabio advanced to lead the Enterprise and Advanced Technologies teams, followed by a tenure as Advanced Services Manager. In 2005, Fabio was appointed as System Engineer Manager for the Technology and Consulting team, and in 2008, assumed leadership of the broader System Engineering organization, where he oversaw sales support and channel development strategies. Notably, from 2009 to 2015, Fabio served as the Expo 2015 Leader for Cisco Italy, where he successfully coordinated the company’s comprehensive technological and digital engagement programs for the Milan World Expo. Prior to joining Cisco, Fabio held technical and managerial positions in the networking sector at NCR and AT&T GIS Italy. Fabio holds a degree in Information Science from the University of Milan. Outside of professional responsibilities, Fabio is a devoted parent of three. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys football, skiing, traveling, cinema, and music.
