Francesco Felicetta

Francesco has been a Product Manager at Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) since 2020. He oversees Cisco Packet Tracer—a learning tool embraced by millions of users every year—the “Digital Literacy” Learning Collection, which aims to help bridge the digital divide, and new Industrial/OT courses designed to build entry-level skills for connecting and protecting industrial networks and critical infrastructures. Francesco’s journey with Cisco Networking Academy began in 1999, when he enrolled as a student in Italy’s first-ever NetAcad CCNA course. This formative experience sparked a lifelong passion for education and technology, inspiring him to become both a NetAcad instructor and an Instructor Trainer. Before joining Cisco, Francesco held various roles at Ericsson and ELIS (a NetAcad partner), supporting thousands of learners and hundreds of organizations through induction, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives. Originally from southern Italy, Francesco moved to Rome for his studies. Fascinated by the beauty and uniqueness of the city, he still resides there with his family.
