Evan Viau is Director of Government Affairs at Cisco, where he leads advocacy efforts with Congress and other policymakers on connectivity, cybersecurity, and procurement policy. Prior to joining Cisco, Evan served as a Professional Staff Member for the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. In this role, he managed policy development and advised members on polices related to broadband deployment, spectrum, satellite communications, supply chain security, and other telecom and technology policy issues. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
